As a member of the Business Intelligence (BI) team, you will work on a team of analysts and developers who are responsible for the development and implementation of reporting and analytics across Brown & Brown. Responsible for alignment of the team strategy, processes and procedures, milestones, and goals. This role offers a hybrid schedule at our new corporate headquarters in Daytona Beach!

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Ensure on-time project and milestone deliveries
• Write technical documentation
• Align BI applications to enhance business decisions, improve operational performance and impact financial strength
• Work with development team and customers to ideate analytical solutions
• Design, develop, test, debug, and deploy solutions using the Microsoft stack: Visual Studio 2019, Azure DevOps, SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, Azure Analysis Services, Power BI etc.
• Pursue professional development opportunities
• Other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics or, in-lieu of degree, equivalent education, training, and work-related experience
• 5+ years of experience in all phases of data analytics including design, modeling, coding, testing, debugging, and source code management
• Proficient in dealing with relational databases: SQL, normalization, indexes, stored procedures, triggers
• Proficient in DevOps, Visual Studio, DAX & Tabular Data Models
• Proficient with Microsoft power suite
• Experience integrating with SOAP and/or Restful Web Services (WCF, Web API)

Preferred:

• Experience in the insurance industry and/ or basic knowledge of insurance or financial services
• Experience with Azure DevOps: CI/CD and Git source control
• Understanding of advanced data modeling concepts
• Experience with Azure SQL, App Services, API Management, PowerBI, Data Factory, Analysis Services, or any other Microsoft Azure resources
