Digital Activation Team Overview:
The rise of technology platforms has given way to data-driven media buying. Hill Holliday has built out a team dedicated to this approach, whose expertise spans programmatic, social, video, audio, and mobile. The role of this team is to understand the Digital landscape and technology platforms, how to use them, and then successfully apply them to the strategic implementation and execution of client programs.
Hill Holliday is seeking an Associate Media Buyer - Platform with exceptional analytical and data driven skills to become an expert in platform offerings and how to best utilize the technology to drive business results. This role is critical to the success of the campaigns and will work closely with the Buying and Integrated Planning teams to ensure we achieve results for our clients.
As an Associate Media Buyer, you will be responsible for:
- Becoming resident expert in the various platform technologies utilized by Hill Holliday across disciplines (search, social, Marketplace and traditional programmatic technologies)
- Monitoring and managing performance on a day to day basis
- Partnering with Buyers and Integrated Planning to understand the client’s marketing goals and nuances
- Assist in the design and implementation of tactics that deliver against client goals across search, social and display
- Understand strategies, tools, and data that can be leveraged to make campaigns more successful
- Performing QAs and assist in weekly reporting to ensure accuracy of data and constant optimizations
- Handle daily campaign maintenance including bid strategies, performance tracking and pacing reports
- Developing an understanding of third-party ad-servers, rich media vendors, and other tracking technologies that can be incorporated into buys
- Becoming an expert in DCM ad server, and Buying platforms inclusive of Programmatic, Social and Video and be able to traffic across platforms
- Helping to monitor and optimize to campaign health benchmarks
- Contributing to weekly, monthly, and annual client insights and strategy reports
- Maintaining current knowledge of growth and changes in the marketplace

Requirements:
- 0 - 2 years’ experience in media
- Fluent in MS Excel usage
- Familiar with digital marketing and social media, with an understanding of programmatic and social landscapes and common media terms
