Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute (FCS) is seeking an Assistant Clinical Nurse Manager for The Villages, America's premier over 55 Active Adult Retirement Community located just 90 minutes North of Orlando in sunny central Florida not far from Ocala.

Monday - Friday Schedule (No evenings/weekends)

Position Summary:

• Assists in planning, directing and evaluating the overall clinical care and functions.
• Assists with overseeing the activities of the clinical areas and directs, organizes, and assigns work to the clinical team that includes nurses, medical assistants, and pharmacy technician(s).
• Assesses, monitors, and educates all clinical staff on patient care.
• Institutes emergency procedures as necessary.
• Assures compliance with all standard operating procedures and regulations to the assigned areas.

Required Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse, licensed in the State of Employment, with at least two years’ experience with hematology/oncology patients in a clinic or hospital is required.
• OCN certification acquire within 12 months.
• At least two years supervisory experience.
• Position also requires fluency in the English Language
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Valid Driver’s license in state of residency for travel to clinics as needed.
