Job Description Summary

The Area Manager is responsible for overseeing our franchise-owned sushi bars and Asian cuisine venues within local grocery stores and supermarkets. The Area Manager supports training, daily operations, food safety, customer service and assist inventory management. We are looking for driven leaders with the ability to successfully communicate with a diversity of cultures and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.

Duties & Responsibilities

• On-site training and coaching of Franchise Partners in: sales growth opportunities, daily operations, food safety, customer service and inventory management.
• Maintaining Company standards of food safety and quality of products
• Monthly store visits and inspection
• Training staff for openings of all new locations
• Coordinate establishing proper permits and licenses
• Ensuring all Franchise Partners comply with FDD rules and regulations
• Effectively and professionally represent the Mai Franchising brand; Use excellent communication and customer service skills to build strong business relationships with new and existing franchisees
• Initiating and enforcing programs, operational policies, and procedures
• Leading and inspiring Franchise Partners to be excellent leaders, business owners, and managers
• Displaying strong individual and team work ethic
• Having a strong desire for personal and professional growth

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of food related experience; Bachelors degree is a plus
• Must have a strong knowledge of franchise laws and regulations
• Must be organized and display keen attention to detail
• Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office programs; Patient and willing to train others in excel
• Ability to lead Franchise Partners in Company standards and best practices
• Ability to operate sushi bars and train others in proper operations
• Goal oriented and results driven
