Position Title: Fire Alarm Project Technician
Location: Seattle, WA
Environment: Onsite/Travel Required (2-3 weeks in state)
Position Status: Full-Time/Contract to Hire
Pay Rate: $30+
Position Description:
Our client is accepting applications for Fire Alarm Technicians for project work in Seattle, WA. While working in this role, most installations will be at commercial sites and banks. Technicians in this role would be expected to install, update, and troubleshoot the installations to ensure everything is properly installed.

Requirements:

• Available to travel
• Current valid State required license(s) for low voltage/burglar alarm/fire alarm/security/CCTV
• Certified to operate a BOOM or scissor lift.
• ELO6 certification required.
• Sitemaps/blueprint reading experience.
• NFPA standards knowledge
• Experience in burglar alarms, access control, and CCTV
• Troubleshooting experience (switches, Wi-Fi, and routers)

Responsibilities:

• Complete all wiring, connections, and equipment installations in compliance with electrical/fire codes.
• Tests to ensure all newly installed fire alarm systems and component devices are operational.
• Mount sensors which could include drilling holes for cabling and accessing tight and hard to reach locations.
• Run low voltage cabling in commercial buildings which may include drilling concrete walls and limited conduit work.
• Install/repair/upgrade fire alarm systems and program control panels with the guidance of building plans/electrical layouts.
• Troubleshoot new system installations for performance.
• Perform any other duties not specifically stated herein, but which your supervisor may assign.
