Position Summary
As part of the program, students enrolled in at least one Guilford College summer class will also receive a $1,000 credit to their account.
The Division of Advancement and Alumni Relations is seeking applications from highly motivated students to work up to 20 hours per week in the Advancement Operations office in assisting with data entry and research associated with our mission of engaging and stewarding alumni, parents, and friends of the college.

Duties include: The successful candidate will maintain confidentiality in a professional environment by working with advancement staff by providing clerical assistance with data entry, communication with constituents by phone and email, and potentially in person. Other duties may include writing thank you notes, entering contact reports, assisting with data entry related to the Bryan Series lecture program, and data cleanup. Additional duties may also include filing (electronic and hard copy) and the development of a list of named spaces on campus.

Qualifications/Special Skills Required
Desired Skills/Attributes: Reliable, prompt, positive, willing to learn, an excellent writer and able to work in a fast-paced environment, detail-oriented and self-motivated. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, and Excel, and the ability to learn to use a CRM database and communication platform software. Individuals must maintain confidentiality at all times in this position and will be held to the standards of the Donor Bill of Rights and the APRA Code of Ethics.
Students must have a 2.0 GPA.

Physical Requirements
Ability to lift files and boxes; ability to go up and downstairs in buildings without an elevator.
