Southeast Human Service Center - Fargo, ND - Administrative Assistant
This is an ongoing temporary position.
Be part of the solution to the behavioral health crisis. As a team member for ND Department of Human Services, you will ensure the most vulnerable have access to a high-quality healthcare system in which prevention works, treatment is effective, and people recover.
As an Administrative Assistant, you will join an administrative team that flexes between multi-dimensional tasks ranging from customer service to file management, form and report preparation.
This position will complete a variety of tasks as assigned. This will include working with applicants in gathering fingerprints and information for background check submissions. You’ll be a primary point of contact for communications regarding the fingerprint process. And you will also complete other support staff duties.
To be considered for this position, you are required to have a high school diploma or GED and three years of experience performing a variety of complex office support, clerical or secretarial work. Additional education with major coursework in office support or business or office education may substitute for up to two years of the experience requirement on a year-for-year basis.
We will consider filling as an Office Assistant III, requires a high school diploma or GED and 2 years’ experience.
Our mission is to provide timely and effective behavioral health services to North Dakotans improving their quality of life through achieving and sustaining recovery. Our focus is providing rehabilitative care in an integrated manner in the person’s home and community.
