The Department of Film and Screen Studies at Pace University in Lower Manhattan seeks a part-time, adjunct faculty to teach undergraduate classes in writing for film, television, and other media. The department is seeking instructors for classes in introductory and advanced screenwriting, writing for television procedurals and comedies, late-night comedy writing, and writing for other genres and platforms in our rapidly changing media landscape.
Position Qualifications
Master’s Degree or higher in a relevant field preferred. Bachelor’s Degree required. At least five years of professional writing experience is required and teaching experience is preferred; knowledge of the industry, a strong sense of structure and storytelling strategies, and a commitment to our bright, ambitious, heterogeneous undergraduates are mandatory.
