***This is a hybrid position that will require you to reside in the Central Florida region.***
The Accounting Specialist will apply principals of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports. Manages junior level staff, including the administrative coordinator, in daily operations. Prepares financial reports; works on special projects as needed; creates advanced spreadsheets to support summary reports; resolves problems. Able to perform multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and manage many tasks in a short period of time.
Responsibilites:
- Month end Close – Coordinates and perform the month end close process for Purchasing and Logistics.
- Financial statement projections and analysis for the above departments.
- Balance sheet and P&L reconciliation for the above departments
- Year-end audit responsibilities for the above departments.
- Operational budgets and forecasts for Logistics and Purchasing
- Other adhoc projects necessary to meet the objectives and initiatives set by executive leadership.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university with five years of accounting experience
- Advanced Excel skills
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Able to write reports and hold a complete understanding of financial statement preparation.
- Able to communicate well orally and in writing.

Responsibilites
Plan, schedule, and prioritize his/her workload to ensure that all daily, monthly and yearly goals are timely met. Will address problem situations within work group as needed to maintain a cohesive work environment.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties related to this position, the team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
