River States Truck and Trailer, a leading heavy duty truck dealership, is seeking a_ highly motivated accounting professional_ to join our team in the corporate office in La Crosse as an Accountant. This position is a key member of the accounting team that will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely posting of daily transactions, monthly financial reporting and period close.
This role will require knowledge of GAAP, technical accounting skills, attention to detail and proficiency in process improvement and accounting software.
Responsibilities:

• Accurate and timely posting of general ledger entries and other transactions

• Generate a variety of accounting and operating reports

• Analyze, reconcile and resolve issues with ledger accounts

• Perform tasks necessary to close the financial period

• Assist in posting of accounts payable, accounts receivable and truck sale activity

• Calculating and processing of commisions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
