Pay: $70,000-$80,000 salary

Job Title: Accountant

Essential Functions:

Under general direction, the Accountant performs professional accounting duties and analysis of financial data in support of various accounting functions that may include Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Cost Accounting, Property Accounting, and/or General Accounting. Follows all procedures within the company policies and perform the following essential functions:

· Maintain and review general ledger activity on a monthly basis and prepare monthly account analysis

· Serve as point person to management team for day to day inquiries and reporting needs

· Prepare and review accounting and fixed asset transactions

· Reconcile all sub-ledgers to general ledger control accounts

· Reconcile intercompany transactions between parent and subsidiaries

· Prepare monthly and quarterly supporting documents/reconciliations

· Communicate and handle G/L, Fixed Asset and AP inquiries from subsidiaries

· Research and resolve accounting issues · Delegate tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project and coordinate the work to be completed but is not responsible for formal supervision of employees

· Other special projects and duties as assigned by management

General Qualifications:

· Minimum 18 years of age

· Reliable transportation

· Eligible to work in the United States

Education/Experience:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (required) · CPA designation a plus or eligibility and expectation to sit for the CPA exam

· 2-3 years of documented progressive accounting experience

· Proficient with Microsoft Office software

· Net Suite accounting software experience a plus

· Demonstrated verbal/written communication skills

· Well-developed planning and organizational skills which include the ability to work independently, prioritize activities, meet commitments, and proactively manage time and a heavy workload.

Language Ability:

Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written in English. Spanish is a plus.

Math Ability:

Ability to understand and analyze financial operations

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
