Our New Newark, DE agency with AssuredPartners is growing! We are hiring for our Account Manager position in Personal Lines Insurance. We seek a candidate with experience working with multiple insurance carriers and a firm grasp of Personal Lines Insurance. The Account Manager is responsible for account support at the direction of senior team members and provides customer service by handling the day-to-day operations of clients' insurance needs and works with various team members to deliver proper insurance and risk management services for clients. Responsibilities:

  • Client Support maintains accurate client information to provide day-to-day support and address intermediate-level client inquiries while delivering exceptional customer care.

Assists in the development of solid business relationships with appropriate insurance carrier personnel. Recognizes and satisfies carrier goals and objectives to enhance business relationships.

  • Account Management
  • maintains files with proper records according to company procedures.
  • Follows company procedures to achieve positive audit results.
  • Ensures accuracy of account information for new and renewal policies per client requests, processing change requests and endorsement checking, addressing proper exposures for policy rating, completing coverage reviews and gap analysis, and accurately transacting agency bill policies.
  • Reviews all accounts receivable and policy cancellation notices according to Agency procedures, recognizing that the Agency must process them promptly.
  • Monitor renewal premium increases for remarketing based on the Agency's retention strategies.
  • Secures documentation needed to be retained by the Agency, including signed applications, replacement cost estimates, rejection of coverage, and confirmation of orders.
  • Insurance ExpertiseLeverages technical knowledge to ensure carrier quotes are received on time; Reviews quotes for gaps and assists with inquiries from the carrier.

Attend training and seek self-directed learning to continue industry and technical knowledge education.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Two years of related experience required
  • Property and Casualty License required
  • Agency Management System experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of available personal lines coverages based on business and industry
  • Proficient in providing client service through electronic, telephone, and in-person interaction
  • Problem-solving skills; strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in the use of Agency Management software or demonstrated skill at quickly learning new systems
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office or similar software, including spreadsheet and presentation software

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
