As an Account Executive, you will lead the business relationships, and sales efforts for multiple strategic HVAC/R Wholesale/Channel Services accounts participating in various key refrigeration and air conditioning market segments based in the southeast with a focus on Florida. You will be responsible for securing sales and profitability growth with both existing and prospective customers through the execution of product and business strategies. While balancing customers, you will engage with Product Marketing and Product Management to develop tailored customer strategies, work with Technical Services to provide customers technical support, with Inside Sales teammates to drive alignment of customer engagement and various internal reporting responsibilities, and with other Emerson business units to secure an audience for Emerson's products including compressors, condensing units, and electronics. This role is an exciting opportunity to support the HVACR business in the southeast.
As an Account Executive, you will:
- Manage ongoing relationships with all key Wholesalers and Contractor customer functional areas – Engineering, Product/Program Management, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, Service Managers, Finance/AP, Quality, and Senior Management.
- Document customer needs priorities, difficulties, and timelines in order to identify growth opportunities and to effectively communicate throughout the organizations of both the customer and Emerson.
- Develop and implement Wholesale customer-specific products and program strategies to secure revenue growth balanced with profitability objectives.
- Coordinate with Technical Service and Service Engineering teammates to provide technical guidance on Emerson products to both Wholesale and Contractor customers
- Align internal resources and teams to implement effective engagements with a wide range of roles within Wholesale and Contractor customer organizations and a variety of product, market, and industry stewardship topics.
- Lead or participate in internal cross-functional teams apart from Account Executive responsibilities to define and implement organizational Strategic Priority initiatives.
- Travel by company car or by air one or more nights per week, 2-3 weeks per month to support customers as required for success. Travel will also include meetings outside of the territory at times including sales meetings and headquarter meetings at Emerson.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
- Bachelor's level degree in business or mechanical/electronic technical discipline and five (5) years HVAC/R related experience
- Competency with business-related software platforms for effective communication and decision-development data analytics
- Effective and adaptive oral and written communication skills for formal and casual presentations, business negotiation, and various problem-solving situations
- Ability to assess customer organizations to identify opportunities and to develop appropriate strategies and tactics to successfully attain profitable growth
- Must manage productive ongoing B2B relationships with customer contacts across various business and engineering roles
- Strong time management & prioritization skills, ability to multi-task, and effectively delegate critical responsibilities to support team while delivering on-time solutions
- This is a remote opportunity based in Florida or southern Georgia
Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:
- MBA or Master's degree in a technical field
- Seven (7) years HVAC/R related experience
- Knowledgeable of HVAC/R compressors, systems, system components and electronics, and industry
- Multicultural awareness and global communication skills
Flexible Work Schedule – Remote Work Options and Core Hours
We offer a work-life balance to our employees, general working hours for this position are 8a - 5p Eastern. We offer schedule flexibility as long as needs of customers across multiple time zones are met.
