TRIGO Global Quality Solutions is looking for a 3Ps Materials Specialist for Decatur IL.

Overall Purpose

As a Materials Specialist for Trigo you will perform a variety of functions to check, receive, verify accuracy of our prime product. You will check, store, disburse or fill orders for parts, materials, tools, equipment and supplies. . You will also work with various source documents to verify the accuracy and conditions of parts.

Responsibilities

(To include but not limited to the following)

Client Relationship & Business Development

  • Act as an impartial third party between the production source and the customer facility to ensure the product meets set criteria

Operations

  • Maintain and report daily receiving and shipping activities.
  • Safely perform the material handling and warehousing functions required in the receiving, processing, storing, moving, packing, and shipping of parts, materials equipment and supplies.
  • Perform related and/or specialized clerical duties and resolves discrepancies as required. Maintains related clerical records and operates computer terminal and/or hand held scanner to access and update information for receiving, counting and order processing
  • Reports defects and need for repairs.
  • Strong commitment to safety and teamwork

Organization & Management

  • This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.

Technical

  • Working knowledge of computer operating systems and network systems.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Operating level knowledge of blueprints, inspection techniques, and industrial standards.
  • Proven record of job diligence and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability in written and verbal communication.
  • Demonstrated organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated comfort level in interfacing with various levels of staff and management while working in a fast-paced environment.

Fulltime - 1st Shift - Benefits

The Logistics Analyst acts as a daily liaison between suppliers and end customers. The Logistics Analyst also helps build and foster the relationship between the supplier, end customer, and TRIGO HT, while maintaining the highest performance standards at lowest achievable costs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Retrieve and prepare suppliers' requirements for kitted and bulk shipments.
  • Create appropriate shipping labels for outbound shipments.
  • Create daily inspection worksheets.
  • Prepare daily dock audits for verification of inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Prepare and send Advance Ship Notices (ASN) and/or invoices to end customer.
  • Enter received shipments into WITS (Web Inventory Tracking System).
  • Conduct and reconcile cycle counts.
  • Conduct and reconcile yearly physical inventory.
  • Complete manual invoices for price discrepancies, as required.
  • Research, identify, and locate inventory discrepancy.
  • Scan documents electronically and send to supplier and end customer.
  • Prepare shipping documents and bills-of-lading.
  • Track and expedite supplier shipments when required.
  • Monitor supplier inventory levels and ensure no shortages exist.
  • Monitor supplier delivery performance indicators.
  • Segregate and dispose of defective materials.
  • Other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned.

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS, COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE:

  • Demonstrated understanding of warehousing methods and shipping/receiving procedures.
  • Operating-level proficiency using computerized inventory control systems.
  • Operating-level proficiency using Microsoft Office.
  • Proven record of job diligence and attendance.
  • Demonstrated ability in written and verbal communication.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills, multi-tasking skills, and attention to detail.
  • Customer Service experience preferred.
  • Managerial or Supervisory experience preferred.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Freight-forwarding experience preferred.
  • Warehousing and logistics operations experience preferred.
