Descripción del puesto
The functions of the position will be:
- Do the maintenance procedures, assembly method statement and maintenance checklist and pre-starts according specifications of OEM.
- Interpretation the hydraulic and electric schemas of the equipment.
- Carry out, schedule and follow-up the preventive maintenance and record it.
- Control the lubricants and wear parts consumption and quality parameters.
- Participate in the management of spare parts of the equipment.
- Support mechanic and electric supervisors in troubleshooting that may occur during the excavation.
- Attend to breakdowns onsite ensuring that there is always a rapid response and that plant equipment and machinery breakdown time is minimised. Always endeavour to reduce downtime.
- Help workshop foreman with orders and paperwork.
- Follow-up rental machinery status and allocation of costs.
- Communicate and coordinate with production team for the special interventions from the maintenance crew.
- Ensure work instructions are planned and done in time.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports of above points with a follow-up of KPI to see the mechanical availability and possible improvements.
- Define with the plant manager the installation and equipment needed for next steps in the tunnel, as intermediate slab, x-passages in NATM, and permanent installations.
- Record all the trainings and certificates of the mechanics, welders and electricians. Also implement the trainings of operators through pre-task briefings.
- Organize the time sheets with production team and mechanic and electric supervisor.
- Pay attention to the safety requirements and the environmental affections of every single task assigned.
- Liaise effectively with external contractors.
Requisitos del candidato
Experience:
Minimum labour experience as engineer of 4 years in:
- Maintenance in tunnelling or mining business; or,
- Machinery maintenance in large construction site; or,
- Maintenance engineer of heavy vehicles workshop; or,
- Coordinator of large industry assemblies and set-ups; or,
- Oil&Gas engineer.
Minimum labour experience of 2 years in:
- TBM tunnelling or D&B tunnelling;
- Manufacture or assembly of tunnel equipment.
Actually desired experience in big EPB machines.
Skills:
- Pro-active and enthusiast attitude.
- Problem solving and quick response in troubleshooting.
- Advanced excel/access user.
- Knowledge in AutoCad.
- Drawing and schemas interpretation.
Qualifications:
- Science bachelor degree (preferred electrical or mechanical engineering.)
- Master degree not required but desired
- Education related to maintenance is a plus.
Languages:
- English: advance user
- Spanish: not required but desired
- Polish: not required but desired
