Halvor Lines is seeking entry level Truck Drivers. We offer a 4 week training program to turn your permit into a CDL.

Halvor Lines is a family-run trucking and logistics company that has been around for 54 years. We serve a wide variety of customers across the continental U.S. and Canada. Our days are spent looking forward, investing in new trucks and trailers, getting ahead of the curve on technology, and building a state-of-the-art terminal in Rosemount, MN.

Currently we are looking to invest in entry level truck drivers to become an OTR (over the road) driver for Halvor Lines.

We offer a 4 paid week training program to turn your permit into a CDL.

• Located at Inver Grove Heights,MN and Superior, WI terminal: Mon-Fri from 8am – 5pm

• You will get classroom training, range training and on the road training.

• Hotel room is covered by Halvor Lines

• Lunch is provided Mon-Fri

• Transportation is provided to training

• Training pay is $1000/week

Benefits upon completion of training -

• You will obtain your CDL truck driver license and upgrade to the Finishing Program

• 4 weeks out driving OTR with a driver trainer and then running solo

• Health benefits start 1st of the month following 60 days of employment.

• 401K is company match of 100% of employee contribution up to 4%

Compensation

• While in training: paid at $1000/week or .20/mile, whichever is greater

• Starting pay once solo driver: from $.44/mile to $.49/mile depending on your division assignment

• Eligible for up to $.10/mile of bonuses.

Requirements:

• Have your permit and DOT physical before attending orientation

Participation in the Entry Level Driver Training program is subject to a contractual commitment of 12 months or 120,000 miles with Halvor Lines, whichever is greater, upon completion of the Finishing Program. Should the candidate choose to depart Halvor Lines prior to meeting the contractual commitment, the candidate is responsible for reimbursing Halvor Lines $10,000 for the cost of the program.

In 2020, we expanded our operations to include a paid CDL training program, which is located at our Inver Grove Heights terminal. Now in 2021, we've expanded to Superior, WI for the paid CDL training program.
